An imagined, overgrown abandoned building and stone staircase in the warm light of sunset.

A small place to remember

Some journeys
stay with us.

In memory of Adam the Woo · 1974–2025

Read the story

Maybe you followed an old link. Maybe you watched an old video. Or maybe you were simply curious about a little piece of internet history.

Maybe you were looking for ABNDN, the two women whose website appeared in one of Adam’s old exploration videos. Maybe you came here because of Adam the Woo.

Either way, welcome.

My name is Eric. I never met Adam in person. I was just one of the many people who followed his adventures, watched him explore forgotten places, and somehow felt like I was tagging along with a friend.

Eventually, I stepped away from social media. Life moved on, and for a few years I stopped keeping up with his videos.

When I finally looked for his channel again, I learned that he had passed away.

It was a strange kind of sadness. Missing someone you never actually knew, yet someone who had quietly been part of your life for years.

I came across this domain through an old video featuring Adam and the women behind ABNDN. When I later discovered that the domain was available, I registered it.

Not to replace what used to be here. Not to pretend I was part of their story, or that I knew Adam personally.

Just to preserve a tiny connection to a time, a place, and a person who meant something to me.

Adam had a way of making the ordinary feel like an adventure.

And maybe that’s what I want this little corner of the internet to remember.

That curiosity matters. That the world is worth exploring. And that sometimes, people we’ve never met can leave a lasting mark on our lives.

Thank you, Adam.
For the adventures, the curiosity, and the countless moments you shared with us.
You are missed.

— Eric

An old video. A lasting memory.

Every story leaves a trace.

If you were part of the original ABNDN, knew Adam, or simply found your way here through one of the old videos, I’d be glad to hear from you. You’re welcome to share a memory, too.
